I was born and brought up in North Wales, playing on the beaches of Conwy and Deganwy.
As soon as I could walk I would spend hours outside in the garden, watching the tiny world of ants going about their business. This is where my passion for 'all things tiny' began.
By the age of five, I had a snail farm in the garden, jam jars of ladybirds and beetles on the kitchen window sill and a glass goldfish bowl full of minnows, sticklebacks and pond snails. I would spend many days out in the woods or knee deep in the streams which surrounded our home.
I was fascinated, watching beetles clambering up the glass jam jars, I could see legs and body parts usually hidden beneath their shells.
The outside world, was and still is a place of wonder and beauty. There are still things I haven't seen, and I still get a thrill when I capture something new on my camera.
I have always painted, using my photographic images as inspiration, I can transform a canvas to a piece of art. Photography and art are one and the same. I see art and intense beauty in what I see through the camera lens. This is what I want to capture and share with the world.
More recently I had my own business in England before travelling around Europe in my old Volvo. I 'landed' in Northern Ireland in 2010. I already had an image of what Northern Ireland would be like, but this was soon dismissed when I saw that there was so much more than what I had seen on the news channel.
I studied and gained my BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from 2010 to 2012. I am now studying for a Degree in Creative Media.
My aim through photography is to open up the beauty of Northern Ireland. To explore the stunning beauty that this province has to offer. From landscapes to flora and fauna, all complete the whole experience that is Northern Ireland.
The greatest artist is mother nature herself, hopefully I have the 'captured the moment' and can now share those moments with you on this site.
